The Hurricane Police Department is providing a Traffic Control class at River Ridge Church – Teays Valley campus.
There are two opportunities to attend the same course curriculum:
- Sunday, 14 April 2024 from 1245pm-1:30pm.
- Sunday, 28 April 2024 from 1245pm-1:30pm.
This training is primarily for volunteers currently serving or those volunteers interested in serving on our Parking Ministry Team, the Traffic Ministry Team, or serving in both ministry teams. The Parking Ministry Team receives and directs our guests to vacant parking spots safely before each Service time. The Traffic Ministry Team facilitates the direction and the flow of the parking lot exit strategy in a safe and organized cycle after each Service time. This Traffic Control class is designed to prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency in traffic control operations; to inform and instill confidence in one’s ability to serve on either or both ministry teams.
Lunch is provided in support of each course. Please register to attend this training and to receive lunch.
