2025 Fall Ridge Women Study Groups

Revelation - Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom - Jen Wilkin

When: Monday Morning at 9:30 (Starting September 15th)
Where: River Ridge Church, Meeting Room 2
Leader: Linda Watson

Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?

Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God's great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age.

I Surrender All - Priscilla Shirer

When: Monday Evening at 6:00 PM (Starting September 15th)
Where: River Ridge Church, Upstairs conference room
Leader: Rhonda Null and Kim Moore

This 10 week study will combine I Surrender All by Priscilla Shirer and The Forge Bible Study—both inspired by the new Kendrick Brothers movie, The Forge.

Salvation is a gift from God. It’s free. It’s grace. It’s the cross. Discipleship, however, comes at a high cost. It’s surrender. It’s effort. It’s a daily choice to lay down your life and follow Him. Few believers choose this route, but those who do experience the abundance that only a surrendered life can offer. It’s the one choice standing between you and the life of freedom and fulfillment, of peace and purpose, that you’ve always wanted. I Surrender All is all about making that choice.

The choice that changes everything.

How to Stand Firm When Tested.

“What does it mean to suffer?” “Where is God when we go through hard times?” “How do I maintain my faith when I’m hurting?” “How can I endure this pain?” Explore these questions and more as you learn what it means to suffer and endure through hard times.  In this 9-week Bible study guide on 1 Peter, explore what it means to be full of the grace of God even while living the life of an exile.

Join the Precept Upon Precept Bible study as we dig deep into God's word.  In this study, you will learn how to discover God's word for yourself and know how to live it out!

Order the Precept Upon Precept if you want to be challenged and dig deeper.  Expect about an hour of homework/5 days a week.  Or choose the In and Out for about an hour and a half of homework/week.  It may take 2 weeks to receive your book after you order it, but lesson one can be downloaded online for free.  Tuesday evening Bible study starts at 6:00 pm at the church.

We Saved You a Seat

When: Wednesday Evening at 6 PM (Starting September 17th)
Where: River Ridge Church, Upstairs conference room
Leader: Lucy Fielder

"In today’s busy world, we’re wired to appear “fine,” warding off authenticity and shielding ourselves from judgment. We hide behind the hum of busyness to escape intimate friendships with the women God has placed in our lives.

But we do want a seat at the table. We yearn for authentic relationships and the opportunity to be the opposite of “fine” with people who cheer for us. But comparison, envy, and entitlement often stop us from pulling out a chair at the table. Friendship can be hard, making new friends even harder, and maintaining genuine friendship the hardest of all.

In this 8-week Bible study, Lisa-Jo Baker and friends from (in)courage explore our relationship with Jesus as the ultimate model for authentic friendship. Nothing shapes us like the impact of a friend—it’s how Jesus radically and intimately connects with us. So instead of chasing perfection, overcome your fear of being known and find the courage to connect.”
