November 15, 2025 - 2:30pm - Let’s honor our brave girls and their babies! One way Embrace Grace supports young, single moms with unexpected pregnancies is by throwing them a baby shower! We have two amazing mamas we are celebrating this semester—Kaitlin, who just had her baby girl, Sienna, in September, and Samantha, who is welcoming a baby boy in February!
Purchase from the registries below to shower these brave girls with the overwhelming love of our good Father and embrace them into the River Ridge family!
HELP HER BE BRAVE
Together, we can make the Church start becoming a place where brave girls with unexpected pregnancies run to instead of running away because of shame and guilt.
At Embrace Grace, we are passionate dreamers who believe that the church—you and me—has the power to make abortion unthinkable. We are a pro-love movement that goes beyond a stance or belief system. We are committed to saving lives through action and the transformative love of God.
Our vision is simple: for every girl facing an unplanned pregnancy to have a church to turn to for spiritual, emotional, and physical support.
An unexpected pregnancy can leave someone feeling uncertain, isolated, and even afraid. But we want you to know: we’re here for you.
We believe that you can have both your baby and your dreams, too. We are here to offer hope, strength, and a community that believes in you.
Embrace Grace is a 12-week support group designed to come alongside young, single, pregnant women—brave girls—who are navigating the challenges of an unexpected pregnancy. Through this group, women will find empowerment, a sense of community, and the deep knowledge that they are not alone. We offer a place of acceptance, worthiness, grace, and love, not shame.
And we celebrate each woman’s journey with a baby shower, showing them that they are NOT ALONE—they are supported and cherished.
How You Can Help
As a church family, we can accomplish this mission when everyone takes intentional steps to pray, give, and act.

Pray: Pray for the brave girls—that they would step into this safe space and feel God’s overwhelming love for them.

Act: Step out of your comfort zone. Do you know someone impacted by an unplanned pregnancy? Share about Embrace Grace and invite them to join the group.

Give: Donate your time, talents, and resources. Help us support these brave girls as they face unexpected pregnancies and prepare for their baby shower.
As our friends at FosterWV say, everyone can do something. Find your something—and be part of making a lasting impact in the lives of these young women.
We are so excited about what God has in store for us through Embrace Grace. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ to these brave girls, showing them they are loved and never alone.

Embrace Life
We are also so excited to be launching Embrace Life. Embrace Life equips single new moms to flourish in their relationships with God and not only survive in life, but thrive! In this group, we will learn spiritual and practical ways to help navigate life while learning to lean on the Holy Spirit for direction.
We need your help! Will you consider coming alongside us as we launch this ministry? There are several opportunities to get involved, such as serving weekly in the group meetings, helping to provide a meal for a meeting, or serving at the events that are a part of this program.

Are you walking through a season of single motherhood?
Becoming a mom unexpectedly can seem scary. You might feel alone and maybe even lost on who to turn to. We know what that’s like - and we can help.
At Embrace Life, we know you have overcome many obstacles and hurdles as a single mom. You may feel like you have a hard time dreaming for your future, when you’re just trying to make it through the day. We get it. Even though this journey may not be easy, we believe you can still have your baby and your dreams too. You are strong and you don’t have to walk alone.
As an unmarried mom, there’s a place for you in an Embrace Life support group. You’ll make new friends in similar situations and have leaders that will guide and empower you. We are in this with you!
This 20 week (10 in the Fall and 10 in the Spring) small group. We would love to have you join us!
