Lucy Fielder
Special Needs Coordinator (Buddies)
Lucy is the Ridge Kids Special Needs Coordinator and works directly with families of special needs children who attend River Ridge Church. Although Lucy never had plans of working in ministry, when she was approached about leading the Buddies program, she knew this was a leap she was being called to take.
Before joining the River Ridge staff, Lucy volunteered with this program for approximately 1 year and was one of the first Buddies the church had. Lucy has always loved working and volunteering with young children, especially those with diverse needs.
Lucy was born and raised in Hurricane, WV where she is still residing with her husband and their growing family. She graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education/special education and has a minor in environmental management.
