Tom became the Care and Connections Ministry Director on October 1, 2023. In this role, Tom provides oversight to the following ministries: Care & Connections Ministry (Assimilation), Guest Services Ministry, Mental Health Support Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Safety and Security Ministry, Widow Ministry, and the men’s ministry (RidgeMen) for the church.
Tom joined the church staff upon his retirement from the United States Army. He possesses an undergraduate degree from Marshall University and graduate degrees from the University of Charleston and the United States Army Command & General Staff College. Tom is currently a seminary school student at Liberty University’s John W. Rawlings School of Divinity, pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries, and a Master of Arts in Religion, Christian Apologetics.
Tom and his wife, Becky, have three children, and the moments that Tom treasures most are when his family is gathered around the table. Tom’s hobbies are associated with the outdoors, i.e., archery, hunting and fishing, kayaking, camping, and hiking."
