Tonya Miller

Office Manager

Tonya is the Office Manager at River Ridge Church. She loves working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly so folks have a great experience at River Ridge.

Tonya was born in Tampa, FL and raised in Lynchburg, VA (an Air force brat). She earned her BS in Psychology (Human services/Counseling) with a minor in Youth Ministry from Liberty University. Tonya held several jobs after college until the kids came along. She raised two boys, and when it was time for the oldest to go to school (New Covenant Schools – Lynchburg, VA – private Classical Christian School), began volunteering for whatever the school needed (office help, school fundraising, etc.). When her youngest entered Kindergarten, the school offered her a FT position as the Headmaster’s Executive Assistant/Admissions Coordinator. She also served as the National Convention coordinator for the Society for Classical Learning during that time and managed all aspects of putting on the National convention.

When her family moved to WV, she began volunteering with the Boy Scouts, school and at River Ridge. Tonya came on full time staff when the Teays Valley campus moved into their current building. Working at River Ridge gives her the chance to use the gifts God has given her to further His kingdom.

When she’s not working, Tonya loves being outdoors (hiking, camping, etc.), volunteering with BSA Troop #17, traveling and reading. She and her husband Bill have a passion for teenagers, to see them discover who they are in Christ, to grow in their relationship with Him, and to see them build a firm foundation in His word so they will know His voice and His will all their lives.
