After retiring from the United States Army, Tom joined the church staff and began serving full time as Director of Care and Connections Ministry on October 1, 2023.

In this role, Tom oversees the assimilation of the congregation and shepherds the guest services ministry, men’s ministry, mental health support ministry, prayer ministry, safety and security ministry, traffic ministry, and the widow & widower ministry for the church.

Tom earned his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and graduate degrees from the University of Charleston and the United States Army Command & General Staff College. Tom also earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries and a Master of Arts in Religion, Christian Apologetics from Liberty University’s John W. Rawlings School of Divinity.

Tom and his wife, Becky, have three children. He treasures time spent with his family gathered around the table and his hobbies include huntingfishing, kayaking, and camping.
